This Privacy Policy describes how VOPU Labs ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our construction logistics platform and our SMS and email notification services (together, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, work email address, and mobile phone number, provided when you or your employer create your account.
- Workplace information: the construction projects, companies, and roles you are associated with on the platform, and the delivery and scheduling records you create or interact with.
- Notification preferences and consent: your choices about receiving SMS and email notifications, including the date and manner of your opt-in.
2. How we use information
- To operate the Service: scheduling deliveries, routing approvals, and running gate operations for your construction projects.
- To send you notifications you have opted into — such as delivery approval decisions, schedule changes, and day-before reminders — by SMS and email.
- To secure the Service, including sending one-time sign-in codes to your mobile number.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. SMS/text messaging privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties for any purpose.
Your mobile number and your SMS consent are used solely to deliver the Service notifications and sign-in codes described above.
4. When we share information
- Service providers that process data on our behalf solely to operate the Service — for example, our communications provider (to transmit the SMS and email messages you have opted into) and our hosting infrastructure. These providers may not use your information for their own purposes.
- Your workplace: information you enter about deliveries and scheduling is visible to the appropriate members of your project and company on the platform, as that is the Service's purpose.
- Legal requirements: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of any person.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Opting out of SMS
You may stop SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, or by turning off SMS in your account preferences. Reply HELP for assistance. Essential service emails (such as the record of decisions on your own delivery requests) may continue where they are part of the Service's operation.
6. Data retention and security
We retain account and project records for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal and contractual obligations, and we protect them with industry-standard administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit and role-based access controls.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves; the effective date above will change when we do. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
